About this course
Being a good listener allows you to connect and resonate in a whole new way. In the same way that you can learn to be a better presenter, you can learn to become a good listener: it’s a learned skill that gets better with practice. In this session, you’ll learn:
- Common challenges that lead us to be poor listeners
- How to spot when we – and others – aren’t paying attention
- How to recapture attention
- How to make others feel heard
This session is delivered in English by a native English speaker. It is not an English language learning course. It is therefore suitable for both native and non-native English speakers.
Anyone who wants to become a better listener, stop alienating others, and become a better communicator by taking the time to really understand others.
Participants will learn how to identify bad listening habits and how to correct those habits to have more meaningful conversations with others. They will also learn to spot when other aren’t paying attention and how to regain attention.
